Marketing Breast Cancer

Another installment in our on-going study of marketing in the DC Metro during March for Life Week 2009.
Hmm...it looks like the folks at Avon want you to walk for 2 days in May to end breast cancer. Obviously, March for Lifers are made of tougher stuff because we march for 1 day in the middle of winter. Anyhow, back to the study.
The Avon people claim "an extraordinary experience of a lifetime awaits you!" An interesting choice of words considering the abortion-breast cancer link. The traumatic "extraordinary experience" of abortion is perhaps the leading cause of the very cancer these ladies are trying to prevent.
Wouldn't it be simpler just to eradicate abortion and thereby prevent the possible cause of breast cancer?
