Obama loves Abortion

That could have been the alternate title of the Anchoress' latest blog post, but she went with Obama, Planned-Parenthood and his Daughters, Again.

You'll want to read the whole thing.

The "Chicago Way" could also be the alternate title for "Culture of Death."

A little bit of this and a little bit of that

Death panels alive and well in England as "Terminally ill patients have been issued with special cards telling doctors not to place them on a 'care pathway' that would hasten the end of their lives." Whole story at the Daily Mail.

Planned Parenthood kills again this time in Chicago: 24-year-old Tonya Reaves died of hemorrhage after undergoing an abortion at a Chicago-area Planned Parenthood clinic. She was engaged to be married and the mother of a one-year-old boy. More at the Suzy B Blog.

Jerome Lejeune

Nice piece by Leticia Velasquez on the late Pro-Lifer Jerome Lejeune.

Jerome Lejeune (1926-1994) was a doctor and researcher who is considered the father of modern genetics. He was awarded the Kennedy Prize in 1962 for the discovery of Trisomy 21, the cause of Down syndrome.

Lejeune was a personal friend of Blessed Pope John Paul II, who appointed him the founding president of the Pontifical Academy for Life.

Four and a half years after the opening of the cause of canonization of Dr. Lejeune (June 28, 2007), and 18 years after his death, the diocesan process has ended, and his cause was sent to Rome with a Mass for life at the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris.

Fetal Free Certification.

Ask for it by name. Check out Sound Choice Pharmaceutical Institute certification program:

We are all touched by the pervasive use of aborted fetal material.  Almost 92% of our children have been given vaccines made using aborted fetal cell lines, which are contaminated with aborted fetal cell DNA and a retrovirus.  This has happened without our knowledge or consent!  By letting people know about these tainted vaccines, by working tirelessly for informed consent and full disclosure for consumers, and by working to develop alternative vaccines, Sound Choice is championing the interests of parents, grandparents, pediatricians, pharmacists, nurses, insurers, and all who are obliged to promote vaccines.  Without knowing what is put into our vaccines we cannot make choices aligned with our values; and without alternative vaccines we cannot exercise our free choice as consumers.

Abortion - Autism Link

Very little research is being done about the aborted fetal stem cell lines used in childhood vaccines. What is the effect of introducing an aborted baby's DNA into a healthy baby via a vaccine?
Perhaps a possible trigger for an auto-immune attack or auto-immune disease like Autism.

Dr. Theresa Deischer of Sound Choice Pharmaceutical talks about it here at Anne Dachel's Autism and the Media blog:

Here are two potential and biologically known and proven mechanisms that could happen to this DNA. One, since it’s not quite the child’s, it could be recognized as foreign and an immune response mounted to it. Since it’s so close to the child’s because it’s human, that immune response could end up being able to attack the child itself called an auto-immune attack. We know this happens when we give a biologic to someone that’s close to their own, but not quite. …”
“The years that these aborted fetal vaccines were introduced, are the years in what we call change points. …Autism was flat, four out of 10,000 for decades and decades and decades, and in 1979 it starts to rise. In 1988, it takes another steep rise that coincides with a vaccine compliance campaign and a second dose. And in 1995, it takes its steepest rise. That’s when chicken pox was introduced. And the chicken pox has the highest level of these contaminants of aborted fetal cells.”

Happy Independence Day!

What Life Was Like in 1776 the whole thing here at the WSJ.

Those Americans, it turns out, had the highest per capita income in the civilized world of their time. They also paid the lowest taxes—and they were determined to keep it that way.
By 1776, the 13 American colonies had been in existence for over 150 years—more than enough time for the talented and ambitious to acquire money and land. At the top of the South's earners were large planters such as George Washington. In the North their incomes were more than matched by merchants such as John Hancock and Robert Morris. Next came lawyers such as John Adams, followed by tavern keepers, who often cleared 1,000 pounds a year, or about $100,000 in modern money. Doctors were paid comparatively little. Ditto for dentists, who were almost nonexistent.
In the northern colonies, according to historical research, the top 10% of the population owned about 45% of the wealth. In some parts of the South, 10% owned 75% of the wealth. But unlike most other countries, America in 1776 had a thriving middle class.
