Can you dig it?

We can't.

"She [Dr. Nucatola] explains how abortion providers get around the law [Partial Birth Abortion Ban] by injecting a fatal quantity of digoxin, a cardiotoxic drug, into the baby’s heart before dismembering or delivering it. In Nucatola’s words, using the slang for digoxin, they “dig."

How abortionists are murdering babies and getting around the Partial Birth Abortion Ban, plus making millions by selling fetal tissue, the whole story at The Federalist.

Intact Fetuses, Kathleen Sebelius, HHS Mandate

Hey, now that the Center for Medical Progress is reporting the sale of intact fetuses do you think it's a good time to remind ourselves that former Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius ran interference for one of her campaign contributors, late-term abortionist George Tiller. And that Sebelius, went on to be the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services which ushered in Obamacare and the HHS Mandate which is going to put the Little Sisters of the Poor out of business?
Yes, we thought you wanted to be reminded.

Artificial Contraception: How We Got Here

"It cannot go without mentioning that artificial contraception was considered to be immoral by all Christians, Protestant and Catholics alike, in all places and at all times, until the Lambeth Conference of 1930. Within a single generation a universal and unbroken Christian ethic was blanketed, smothered, and left for dead. The condemnation of what Martin Luther considered an act “far more atrocious than incest or adultery” is now considered to be a Catholic quirk."
Interesting quote from Tyler Blanski's The Protohomsexual over at Crisis Magazine, wondering how we got to this point in history.

March for Life Rome 2015 - Meet you in the piazza!

Interview with the event organizers. We have to be in the Public Square.

What is very important today is that Catholics especially understand the necessity to go in the public square, because this is something Catholics never usually did in the past, except for some political groups, but there are few of them. They, and especially young people, need to understand that if they want to achieve something and change our society, we have to go into the public square.

Birth Control Pill as Water Pollutant

In a study published in the journal Scientific Reports, U.S. Geological Survey researchers found that fish exposed to 17a- ethinylestradiol, also known as EE2, produced offspring that struggled to fertilized eggs, The Washington Post reported. The hormone’s effects in fertility were also found in the grandchildren of the fish originally exposed.
EE2 is a major ingredient in oral contraceptives, and up to 68 percent of each dose is released in urine and excrement.
Researchers also determined that BPA, which is widely used in plastics, had a similar effect in reducing fertility in fish used for the research. Both EF2 and BPA are endocrine disruptors that interfere with hormones and cause developmental disorders.
Yah don't say. The Pill kills.

Herbicides, Infanticides, Carcinogens

Ideological Colonialism

It's a thing. Learn more about it. Here two interesting articles.

Aleteia has a interview with Robert Cardinal Sarah of Guinea. Read it all here.
"God has always involved Africa in his plan for salvation. Africa saved Jesus, at the time of the flight into Egypt. It is an African, Simon of Cyrene, who helped him carry his cross. Africa has suffered a lot. Its values were denied (and still are, through what Francis calls ideological colonialism, and in particular regarding the gender theory)."

And an interview with Dr. Ngare who exposed WHO & UNICEF regarding their lacing the tetanus vaccine with an abortive-sterilizing agent. Dr. Ngare is a member of the Kenya Catholic Doctors Association and the Kenya Christian Professionals Forum. He was one of the six representatives of the Catholic Church in the joint committee of experts drawn from the Catholic Church and Ministry of Health appointed to test the tetanus vaccine in Kenya.

Dr. Jack Willke

Dr. Jack Willke, who was often considered the father of the modern-day pro-life movement, has passed away.
A medical doctor by trade, Willke, along with his late wife Barbara, crisscrossed the nation in the 1960s and 1970s teaching people about the fight for life and helping set up some of the first state and local Right to Life groups combating abortion before and after the infamous Roe v. Wade decision.

Aborted Fetal Cells and Vaccines

Efficacious Vaccines don't have to be made from aborted fetal cells.
Merck and other pharmaceuticals chose to do so because it's fast and cheap.

Dr. Jay Carpenter explains in here.
Prior to 2009, Merck, the manufacturer of the MMR vaccine used in the U.S. and in many other countries, made available individually separate vaccines for mumps and measles that were derived from the ethically acceptable sources as described. In 2009, they stopped making these vaccines available, despite reassurances to the contrary. Since then, Merck has refused to license these vaccines to other companies who were interested in making them available to the public
And Dr. Theresa Deisher talks about moral vaccine development here.

Ideological Colonialism is Very Real, 100%

Archbishop Charles Palmer-Buckle of Accra, Ghana talking about Ideological Colonialism (the blackmailing of Catholic medical institutions by the UN, NGOs, and World Bank, because they refuse to preform abortions or endorse contraception).
On other matters, Palmer-Buckle affirmed that what Pope Francis recently described as “ideological colonialism,” meaning efforts by non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and international agencies to force the developing world to adopt a liberal sexual ethic on matters such as abortion and contraception, is not just a hypothesis.
“It’s very real, 100 percent. The pressure is definitely there,” he said. “It’s coming from the World Bank, the [International Monetary Fund], the [United Nations] Population Fund … all of them come with these ideologies.”
“It’s so secular, it’s almost anti-religious, and it’s espoused by all these agencies and NGOs,” he said.
Palmer-Buckle said that when he led Ghana’s smaller Koforidua diocese in the 1990s, he was responsible for four hospitals and 11 clinics, with a client base that was 85 percent non-Catholic and concentrated among the country’s poorest and most rural people. Yet he couldn’t get UN support, he said, because his facilities didn’t distribute contraception or offer abortion.
“I couldn’t get money to take care of malaria because we didn’t have the right positions on gender and so on,” he said.

Smart Kids, the Pro-Life Generation

The Pro-Life Millennials aren't razzle-dazzled by Big Pharma and the Culture of Death.

1 in 5 millennials thinks vaccines cause autism:

And Americans ages 18 to 29 are more likely to oppose mandatory childhood vaccinations.

We wonder if it is...

Because they have grown up with Autism in their families and friends?

Because they know that medical malpractice can be covered up by medical kidnap?

Because they have seen Gardasil maim and kill?

Because they know the Pill is a type 1 Carcinogen?

Because they know the Pill can cause Brain Cancer?

Because they have mothers who have died from Breast Cancer?

Because they suffer from out of control auto-immune diseases?

Can't fool all of the people all of the time and the Millennials are no fools.

Anxiety, War, and PTSD

Michael J. Totten talking truth about American Sniper. Read the whole thing here.
No experience produces as much anxiety as going to war, and anxiety changes the brain chemistry—sometimes temporarily, other times indefinitely. When the sympathetic nervous system kicks in, it strips away our ability to think in shades of gray. It’s a survival mechanism that evolved to keep us alive; it’s older and more primitive than human consciousness itself. Complex and slow higher-brain reasoning inhibits the fight-or-flight response necessary in times of imminent danger, so the brain is hard-wired to short-circuit around it.
As a journalist in various combat zones, sometimes embedded with the U.S. military in Iraq and other times working solo, I’ve spent time in that mindset. It’s not pleasant and it’s not pretty, but there’s nothing immoral about it. Nearly everyone is susceptible to it. Don’t believe me? Try spending a few months being hunted by ISIS in Syria and watch what it does to your mind. A left-liberal friend of mine in the media business who spent years in the Middle East put it to me this way over beers in Beirut: “I get a lot less liberal when people are trying to kill me.”

1 in 5 Children on Food Stamps: 6 Degrees of Separation

A sort of Six Degrees of Separation on a theme of One in five children is on food stamps in 2015.

1. War on Poverty
2. Daniel Patrick Moynihan
The Moynihan Report advocates for increased welfare for poor black families, but also expressed that welfare does not empower the destitute to find solutions to their financial troubles. Moynihan states: "The breakdown of the negro family has led to a startling increase in welfare dependency," and that welfare, although helpful, constituted a reactive measure, failing to address the true roots of poverty. Moynihan concluded that more proactive means to empower black families include the promotion of vocational training and a value in education.[15]
3. Roe v Wade (January 22, 1973)
4. Jesse Jackson
Abortion is genocide. Anything growing is living…If you got the thrill to set the baby in motion and you don’t have the will to protect it, you’re dishonest…You try to avoid reproducing sickness. You try to avoid reproducing deformities. But you don’t try to stop reproducing and procreating human life at its best. For who knows the cure for cancer won’t come out of some mind of some Black child?Jet Magazine Mar 22, 1973; p. 15
5. The Welfare State
6. Obamacare

Contraception and the Next Ordinary Synod

Rick Fitzgibbons with a clear call to the Bishops to listen to St. John Paul II and Blessed Paul VI.

A clear and scientifically irrefutable relationship exists between the use of contraceptives and the plague of divorce, with its life-long damage to millions upon millions of young people, loyal spouses, and their families worldwide. Many days in my work, I feel like an army medic on a battlefield strewn with people of various ages and conditions, severely wounded by something essentially ignored.
The failure to address the psychological and sociological science related to this damage needs to be corrected – and the subject directly confronted – in next October’s Ordinary Synod on the Family.

Loretta Lynch is Pro-Zombie

What is partial-birth abortion?

Partial-birth abortion (PBA) is the term Congress has used to describe a procedure that crosses the line from abortion to infanticide.  The doctor delivers a substantial portion of the living child outside his mother's body --- the entire head in a head-first delivery or the trunk past the navel in a feet-first delivery --- then kills the child by crushing his skull or removing his brain by suction. [USCCB website].
"Crushing his skull and removing his brain". Hmm. Sounds a lot like how Zombies kill; sucking out the brains.
Guess Loretta Lynch likes her some Zombies. Must be a fan of The Walking Dead.
During her legal career Lynch "signed on to an amicus brief in the Partial Birth Abortion case before the Supreme Court where she served as an amici in favor of Planned Parenthood."

Public Shaming, it’s a Gay Thing

Or so one would be lead to believe given Patricia Todd, a gay Alabama lawmaker’s intimidation tactic, which is a threat to expose (blackmail, extort) her fellow lawmakers who are in adulterous affairs.

Sounds so similar to the public shaming used by the LGBT community to silence the adult children of same-sex marriages who speak out against same-sex marriage.
Katy Faust also testified that children of homosexuals are intimidated into silence by gay activists who threaten them with public shaming, job interference, and worse for daring to speak out against same-sex “marriage.”

UPDATE 1/23/15:
Don't forget, now it's the West Coast's turn. Walk for Life, January 24th.

Regarding the Media Blackout.
We need someone to take up where the late, faithful Barbara Curtis left off. Every year she would stake out a location on Constitution Ave and photograph the March, so there would be a permanent record of the crowd. Perhaps something the Jeanne Monahan and MFL needs to consider. We need both a photo gallery and social media (for trending purposes). Perhaps Carl Anderson and the Knights should fund a photographer along with aerial photos of the event.

American Thinker has a piece about the March and the Media Blackout.

UPDATE:
Has to be the biggest media blackout of the MFL that we can remember.
Very hard to find photo galleries at the usually secular news websites.
Mainstream media is pretending 500,000 people weren't in DC today.
If you attended the March for Life be sure to post your photos to Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.

Interesting to note that the Rupert Murdoch press Foxnews, NY Post, WSJ have scant information, especially after they pulled Catholic newsman Brett Baier from an upcoming Legatus Conference.

What Our Society Has Lost with 42 Years of Legalized Abortion

From Fr. George Rutler's "The Pastor's Corner " at Church of St. Michael (NYC):

Ever since the legalization of abortion in our country, the Church has resisted the temptation to discouragement in defending innocent life. January 22 will mark the 41st annual March for Life in Washington. The March has gone on in weather fair and foul, whether government administrations have been friend or foe. In those years, more than 56 million babies in our country alone have been destroyed in their mothers’ wombs. We lament the loss of at least 110 million soldiers and civilians worldwide in the two World Wars, and can barely imagine with what talent and invention so many of them might have endowed the arts and science. The same dirge can be intoned for all those babies.
Last year at this time, I cited a statistical abstract using the ratio of professions to population and the number of infants aborted. The resulting estimate showed that in the last 35 years, those lives destroyed could have included:
2 U.S. presidents; 7  Supreme Court justices; 102 U.S. senators and 589 congressmen; 8,123 judges; 31 Nobel Prize laureates; 328 Olympic medalists; 6,092 professional athletes; 134,841 physicians and surgeons; 392,500 registered nurses; 70,669 clergy, including 6,852 Catholic priests and 11,010 nuns; 1,102,443 elementary and high-school teachers; 553,821 truck drivers; 224,518 maids and housekeepers; 33,939 janitors; 134,028 farmers and ranchers; 109,984 police officers; and 39,477 firefighters.
None of those infants lived to be baptized, and they are entrusted to the mercy of God. Our nation now has the lowest birthrate in its history, and may be approaching the demographic winter that is destroying many other countries. The good news is that contending for life year in and year out has raised consciences, and the rate of abortions is at an all-time low. So when facing Satan and all his works and all his empty promises, say with good courage: I have been baptized.

Be Not Afraid

Where is your Brother?

A young girl's realization that her fellow teammates ...children who should have been her teammates...are dead from abortion.

“Mom, I was counting in my head, and I know 13 kids around my age with spina bifida.”
“Yeah?” I asked. “And?”
“That means that at least 26 are dead. Twenty-six is enough for at least two more basketball teams.” She sighed and turned to look out the car window.
